Activity mat and meeting Aunt Kris
Elliot finally got a chance to try out his activity mat. If you look closely, you can see Betty supervising in the background.

It also doubles as a cat toy!

Aunt Kris finally came back from her work trip and got a chance to meet Elliot. His hands look just like hers when she was a baby.

Go Minuteman Swimming!
Today we cheered for Ed at the 2009 New England LMSC Short Course Meters Championship. I made Elliot his own Minuteman hat. Ed swam in 8 events, had 8 personal records, and didn't have any last-place finishes. We'll be back tomorrow to cheer some more!

Edited to add a new photo from day 2. Seven more PRs for Ed!

We scored two $9 Kangaroo Korner fleece slings from Isis Maternity. :)

Happy baby
Elliot and I got a massage together from Neilie yesterday. It was soooo awesome. Neilie did her thing and Elliot got to hang out with me on the table. Afterwards, he got his own craniosacral treatment which made him super relaxed.

Then, dinner! Elliot was so lucky -- there was always someone around (Neilie, Rachel, Josh) who really wanted to snuggle with him. Here Rachel illustrates the jacket trick. I may have to get out one of my maternity fleeces so I can do this at home (my other jackets are still kind of tight). Elliot's still looking rather tan as his jaundice resolves.
